How to make baby bootie cake?
The baby’s arrival is celebrated with a bootie cake.

Ingredients
- Start out with a 9 x 13-inch cake (white, chocolate or other favorite.)
Instructions
- Freeze the cake for at least 2 hours before frosting.
- Make a triple batch of our basic white frosting.
- Reserve 1 1/4 cup of frosting and dye it pale yellow.
- Place cake on decorating board.
- Frost the top of the cake yellow.
- Frost sides with white frosting.
- Fill the pastry bag with white frosting and pipe border around bottom and top edges.
- Place yellow frosting into a smaller pastry bag.
- Pipe a yellow border over the bottom white border.
- Top your cake with plastic baby booties (found at cake or party supply stores) and plastic daisies.
- Place flower-shaped sprinkles on the top.
