How to make cream cheese frosting?
Cream cheese frosting is a great substitute for plain chocolate or white. You can also use it to frost cookies and quick bread.
Notes:
Top your Red Velvet Cake with this frosting and white chocolate shavings.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 sticks butter
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- In a large bowl, blend cream cheese, butter, and vanilla until smooth.
- Gradually add powdered sugar.
- You can add a teaspoon or two of milk to make the frosting more creamy.
