How to make royal icing for a baby shower?
Royal icing is an elegant looking and picturesque cupcake topping. Remember always to keep this icing covered, as it dries and hardens very quickly.

Ingredients
- 2 large egg whites
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 3 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat eggs whites and lemon juice together with electric mixer.
- Gradually add powdered sugar.
- Keep beating on low speed until smooth.
- This icing dries and hardens when exposed to air.
- Either frost your cupcakes immediately, or store frosting in an airtight container.
- When cupcakes are frosted, cover with plastic wrap.
- Try adding a drop or two of food coloring to match baby shower's colors.
